Welcome to GallantGym! To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all our members, please take note of the following terms and conditions. Your cooperation helps us maintain the high standards we strive for at our fitness center in Uitenhage, South Africa. Our unique selling point is our dedicated support every step of your way to make sure your health is always on check.
Membership rules
Here are the most important rules you need to know about your GallantGym membership:
- 1 month notice is required for gym membership cancellation.
- A cancellation fee of R600 applies before the 12-month contract lapse.
- For month-to-month memberships, there is no cancellation fee.
- Payments are due on the 1st of each month. If your start date is in the middle of the month, the full month's price is applicable.
- No refunds are given for month-to-month memberships.
- Upfront payments for long contracts are possible, but subject to the cancellation fee condition mentioned above.
- Members must adhere to all house rules.
- Members are liable to pay 30% of the replacement or maintenance cost if they break the equipment.
- If found using the gym without payment, a police case will be lodged, and a penalty of R500 will be required.
Prohibited activities
GallantGym aims to provide a conducive environment for training. Therefore, we don't allow any specific activities and behaviours that aren't inline with our guidelines.
Consequences of rule breaking
If a customer breaks any of the rules, GallantGym will open a police case against the customer. Our lawyers will then handle the legal process to ensure compliance and protect the interests of our gym and its members.
